Pressley Ridge provides education, treatment foster care, residential, and community-based programs to over 5,400 children and families annually, in six states as well as internationally in Portugal and Hungary.
Pressley Ridge believes that all children can change and grow and that all family can use support, and it recognizes that many of the children and families it serves have been impacted by trauma, including domestic violence and sexual assault. In response, the agency has become increasingly trauma-informed in its approach.
Executive director, Jesse McLean is committed to supporting those who have experienced violence and embraces primary prevention of domestic and sexual violence as integral to the work of the agency. Under his leadership Pressley Ridge is developing a plan for integrating primary prevention into services for youth.
