2018-19: A Year of Taking Action
As Southwest PA Says NO MORE enters its 5th year, we work to create change by participating in NO MORE Week. NO MORE Week is a national effort to engage every individual, organization or corporation to say NO MORE and to make domestic violence and sexual assault awareness and prevention a priority year-round.
During the week of March 3-9, we support survivors and recognize those who are working to end domestic and sexual violence in our community. This week allows us to make the commitment to help change a culture that has accepted violence for too long. Change happens everywhere. #ChangeHappensHere!
Southwest Says NO MORE will show its teal pride during NO MORE Week with a series of outreach activities, including its annual meeting and report to the community on March 6. The event is free and open to the public.
The occasion will bring together nearly 100 leaders, partners and supporters of the regional initiative led by FISA Foundation, The Heinz Endowments and United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
The program will highlight the successes and impact of the work to date and focus on how to advance prevention efforts and create a world free from domestic violence and sexual assault.
